About Ida+Moon: Ida+Moon is based on a desert inspired dream. Artist, designer and maker; Hannah Thurston grew up in the high desert and traveled frequently through the American west. She developed a great appreciation for its timeless and effortless beauty which can be seen in her designs and the curation of her shop. The never ending inspiration from her past travels is thoughtfully presented in her choice of colors, textures and old world craft. Leather collections are made with locally sourced vegetable tanned leather. Hannah also works with recycled/found leathers and vintage textiles found along her travels which inspire unique and one of a kind bags. All pieces are hand cut and hand sewn together and made with the intention to last a lifetime. Ida+Moon’s naturally dyed textile collection offerings are from spring-late fall. Hannah does all of her own plant dyeing outside in her backyard in the foothills of Colorado. She works with various herbs, flowers, roots and minerals to achieve a dreamy earth tone color pallet inspired from her travels in the desert.
